MarvelClient File Blocking allows you to save disk space by not even allowing users to attach or send files you don't allow. No firewall or SPAM filter can do that!

Instead of just deriving the file type from a filename's extension such as *.exe, MarvelClient File blocing determined the type of a file from its contents.

MarvelZip comes with more than 100 readymade so called fingerprints to help you deal with your file types in any way you choose. 

Files can be blocked by:

• Filesize
• Filename or -pattern
• Filetype derived from reliable fingerprints
• MD5 hashes created for exactly one particular file (as opposed to blocking all files of a particular type), e.g. CHRISTMAS.EXE or EASTEREGG.COM

Blocking criteria can be freely defined and combined, such as:

• Block all files that are larger than 4 MB
• Block all .exe and .dll files
• Block all MPG files that are larger than 1 MB
