MarvelZip - which is also available as an integrated
MarvelClient module - offers
seamless attachment compression and decompression and
reliable attachment blocking.
Coping with .zip files in Notes is as easy as saying "1-2-3", if you have MarvelZip:
- Select the files you want to attach - you can also drag & drop files from Windows into Notes
- The progress bar displays zip progress
- Voilą: there's your attached file - zipped!
Zip-file handling has never been easier!
When end users receive single-file zip-files - be it from in- or outside the company - attachment handling of zipfiles is as easy as if they weren't zipped at all:
- Clicking on "View" in the attachment menu seamlessly passes the zipped file on to the right application - end users no longer have to save the zipped file, unzip and open it - it's all done automagically.
- For Notes 7 and up, MarvelZip even supports in-place editing of zipped files - simply click on e.g. an Excel-sheet, select "Edit", work on the file and MarvelZip saves any changes directly back into the zipfile-attachment in Notes. Without MarvelZip, end users would have to save the zip file, unzip it, open the unzipped file, edit it, potentially even rezip the newly edited file and re-attach it again. With MarvelZip it's all done in-place.
